WEDDING ALBUMS

Over the last ten years I’ve gone through wedding albums from many different companies, many of which are really popular and very well known through the industry and some smaller. Over the last couple wedding seasons I’ve been a bit reluctant to advertise wedding albums due to the number of problems I’ve had with suppliers. I’ve gone from popular wedding albums from the USA which look quite stunning but have had quality control issues (warped pages) to popular Italian albums which look like a blind man has cut them.
In the latter half of 2016 I discovered Folio Albums and their albums are quite literally stunning. First of all let’s discuss wedding albums. They’re expensive and in some cases really expensive, but, they do look amazing. It’s arguable that you may only look at your wedding once, maybe twice a year or once, maybe twice ever few years. A few years ago before digital cameras went mainstream most couples received a wedding album with their wedding packages, it was the normal, but now with digital cameras and digital files, many couples want to save money and go for photos on a disc.
This is fine but for me, coming from a film/darkroom background, there’s nothing quite like a really well printed print. If time and money allowed I would love to shoot weddings entirely with film and build an album myself with traditional darkroom prints but in this day and age that’s quite impossible. The next best thing in my opinion are Folio Albums albums. They’re put together beautifully, everything looks clean, the pages feel lovely and most importantly the photos look perfect. They literally look like how I processed them on my computer.
So for 2017 I’ll only be supplying albums from Folio Albums. Price wise, as mentioned before wedding albums are expensive. It’s not unheard of for wedding albums to cost over £1000 but Folio Albums cost literally half of that and less.
The album pictured on this page is the one album I’ve received from Folio Albums to date although as of February 2017 I’m in the process of ordering myself an album, along with some swatches, and I’ve also got another customer’s album to order. Once I’ve receive either/both I’ll update this page but if you’re interested in having a look at an album, do get in contact.
I’m more than happy to show you an album, go over options and work out what will be perfect for you.

Albums are delivered in a presentation box and many of the pages are separated with tissue paper to protect the pages in transit. There are a lot of presentation options available though but any questions please contact me anytime.
So how much do they cost?
Albums come in three different sizes; 12×12 inches (£550), 10×10 inches (£500) and 8×8 inches (£450).
I also offer mini albums which are small postcard in size and are bought in batches of 5 (£150) and 10 (£180). These are a fantastic thank you gift.
There are literally too many options to share here so please contact me for more information.
