South Queensferry Wedding. During the early stages of the Covid lockdown, South Queensferry Registrars Office finally updated the interior to their venue and what a huge improvement. I’ve photographed a few weddings at South Queensferry Registrars Office and they’ve all been great to shoot but now they’ve updated the interior this is definitely one of the best wedding venues in the area.

Jenny and Charlie booked me for their wedding in South Queensferry. It was literally just the two of them and two guests and guests, and myself, were still required to wear masks indoors at the time. Wedding bookings have changed nowadays, ten years ago I would nearly always meet people in person before their wedding, but nowadays if I do meet beforehand, it’s almost always online via Zoom, WhatsApp or whatever platform is convenient and it really is convenient. I could tell beforehand they would be great to work with but on the day, their wedding party was one of the most fun ever. They were all absolutely brilliant to work with, which is incidentally Charlie’s surname, Brilliant.

The ceremony took around 20 minutes then we headed along the high street, took lots of photos then headed down towards the harbour side. The weather was great, not particularly blue skies, but bright and not raining and we managed to capture a mixture of fun and romantic shots. It’s a pun towards this wedding, but what a Brilliant wedding.
