South Queensferry Registrar’s Office Wedding. This year my work has taken a massive shift. Through my other website; Chris Radley Photography, I spent my spring and summer photographing up to 35 Airbnb style properties a month as well as doing my other day job (photographing cars) and I’m still in the process of setting up my web design business. But I’ve also photographed some weddings which I’ll start updating from today.
So today’s wedding took place at South Queensferry Registrar’s Office which is a great little venue in a really beautiful part of the Edinburgh area. South Queensferry sits on the north side of Edinburgh and lies along the banks of the Forth of Firth. The scenery highlight for pretty much everyone is the Forth Rail Bridge which always looks absolutely awesome. Monika and Luke booked me for this wedding and only for an hour but realistically a wedding at South Queensferry needs more than an hour.
There are so many awesome spots for photos it takes at least 1.5 hours to go through a ceremony and visit a few spots. So following a fairly short but really lovely ceremony, we headed outside and took photos along the way to the harbour. Fortunately it was a really small wedding so the group shots took literally a few minutes then we took some couple’s photos along the harbour and then finally along the high street.
