City Chambers Edinburgh Wedding – Kim and Sam
City Chambers Edinburgh Wedding. So this is my first wedding post in a really long time and there’s quite a few things I’d like to mention.
First of all, I’m still alive and well. I’ve received lots of emails asking if I’m still around and still working. Over the last year, due to the pandemic, my work largely died so I put myself on furlough and focused my efforts on my web design business, my wife’s business (helping her with printing etc) and also focused a great deal of effort on my daughter and her tennis (Instagram page here if you’re interested).
Her tennis has been a real journey! She started private coaching July 2020 (she’s 9 at the time of writing this) and in one year she has become the number one ranked player in the country for her age group. In three months this summer she won six tennis tournaments and placed third once and second four times. We have a brilliant tennis coach and I play with her a lot so she’s progressed very quickly.
My wife was very busy with her work; illustrating for Snapchat and other companies and also with her product business. So it made sense for me to go on furlough.
This September, I’m now mega busy with work myself. This is the first of a few weddings and other photoshoots coming up and as usual I have my work divided up onto my other dedicated websites; BNB Media for properties and Joyful Weddings for weddings.
So to this wedding, I photographed a wedding at City Chambers for Kim and Sam. They booked me for their wedding not too long before their event and we had an initial Zoom chat about their wedding (they’re based down south) which went great. Both Kim and Sam, along with their families, were mega easy and fun to work with and I think this really shows in the photos. I’m really fortunate in 99% of my clients nowadays are really amazing to work with (100% on the weddings) so their City Chambers Edinburgh Wedding was great fun.
