Caves Wedding

The Caves Wedding. I photographed this brilliant wedding for Jamie and Will at the Caves mid 2021. Prior to their wedding I photographed a pre-shoot for them at Lauriston Castle, which gave us both the opportunity to meet for the first time, but to also give them a feel for what it’s like to have your photograph taken professionally. I’ve written countless times about what an incredible venue the Caves is and this continues, it’s always a brilliant venue to capture any kind of event.

It was great doing the pre shoot at Lauriston Castle with Jamie and Will beforehand and this definitely makes photographing the actual day a lot easier. Both Jamie and Will were awesome to work with and despite the limited time I had to interact with guests (due to it being quite a large wedding), the people I did talk to were all great.

On the day I took some preparation photos of Jamie and Will at the Apex Hotel at Waterloo Place, then we headed over to the venue. The ceremony happened, group shots afterwards then we disappeared for just under an hour to do couples photos. The rest of the day was lots of reportage photography, capturing people enjoying themselves, and the occasional group shot here and there. A really great wedding, super enjoyed this Caves Wedding.
