One of those super cool weddings, Michelle contacted me from Nashville, USA, and asked if I’m available in a rough period of time to photograph her wedding at an undecided location. Cool! She had looked at different locations in Edinburgh to get married and these included the shore, a couple other locations and Calton Hill.

Calton Hill as locals will attest has some pretty awesome views of the city and on a really sunny day it’s pretty spectacular up there so she decided to get married up there. A bit of date toing and froing and contacting the correct people to ask for permission to get married on Calton Hill seemed really seriously hard, but we all made it.

And thankfully the wedding happened on the particular day we did it as the weather was quite frankly stunning on the day. Michelle and Matthew made it over all the way from Nashville along with some friends and family and their wedding, while short, was really great fun and everyone loved the photos.
