A really cool wedding today. On the 1st September I photographed a wedding for Chris and Pippa at a brand new venue for myself, Broxmouth Park. Broxmouth Park, which hosts a few weddings each year, is a privately owned home that resides just outside of Dunbar. Before I was booked for this wedding I admittedly hadn’t heard of this venue but I can 100% say it’s an awesome venue for a wedding.
I was booked from preparation shots in the morning until first few dances in the evening and admittedly some big weddings can feel like a bit of a chore but this wedding was so relaxed and a really good laugh so was an absolute pleasure to photograph. Broxmouth Park has a lake which is really popular for taking photos but the owner recommended we head over to the seaside to take some couple’s photos. We literally had the last couple minutes of the sunset to work with and it was 95% pitch black but I absolutely love the photos we took along the beach.
Chris and Pippa brought along their dog Flo for many of the photos and for once I got to photograph an outdoor wedding, which was really awesome and had a really amazing backdrop.
I’ll let the photos below speak for themselves (with a few comments) but this was a really awesome wedding and an absolute pleasure to photograph.
We literally had minutes left of the sunset when we visited the beach. Broxmouth Park has a lake which is lit at night which we were originally going to visit by the owner recommended the beach and 100% this was the correct decision.
